State-of-the-Art Center Opens
A formal dedication ceremony for the Riedman Health Center was held on July 18, 2018. The new center is the first major capital project to be completed as part of the Because Care Matters Campaign. It's through this state-of-the-art facility that Rochester Regional Health is improving access to key outpatient services. This one-stop destination for non-surgical care offers a new model of personalized service in a setting that’s soothing, modern and designed to reduce wait times while allowing providers to spend more time with patients.
Located in a newly revitalized and expanded Irondequoit retail space, an RTS bus stop and free parking will make the 74,000-square-foot center more accessible than ever and provide residents with a number of outpatient services including:
- Primary care and internal medicine for children and adults
- Imaging (including mammography, ultrasound and 3D ultrasound)
- Blood drawing and lab
Former Rochester Regional Health board member John Riedman and his family are among those whose generosity and leadership helped create the health system as it is today. They have continued to be exemplary leaders by making a $5 million gift commitment through the Riedman Foundation for the new building that bears their name.
