Strides for Breast Cancer Research

Oct 18, 2016

On Sunday, Rochester Regional Health literally took strides to make strides in breast cancer research. Teams of people from the health system participated in the American Heart Association’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Frontier Field.

In addition to its teams raising more than $15,000 in support (second highest among 18 fundraising businesses and organizations), Rochester Regional was the event’s presenting sponsor.

Within the health system, the Rochester General Hospital Breast Center is among the highest volume breast centers in New York State. It’s also a Center of Excellence in cancer care.
